Mike Brown: Trading One Stereotype For Another

Holly Briley Recently film director, Jason Pollock released what some are calling a “highly edited” video from his documentary, Stranger Fruit that retraces the events of the 2014 shooting of Mike Brown.

In this video Pollock alledges Brown gives the store employee a bag of pot for the Cigarillo’s he was previously said to have stolen. Pollock also alledges this was part of a pre negotiated negotiated deal.

Jay Kanzler, the attorney for the convenience, who also happened to be in the convenience store when a new rash of protesting and gunfire broke out, disputes the events in the video, and goes on to state they have nothing to do with Brown’s later visit to the store.

Mr. Kanzler recently gave a press conference and during it released the unedited version of the tape in question, taking the watcher step-by-step through it.

In the end the questions remain:

1) Was Mike Brown simply carrying out a drug deal and not committing strong arm robbery?
2) Why does it even matter as the events in the store had nothing to do with his death?
3) And most importantly in my opinion –
Why are so many people willingly trading one stereotype of young black men for another one that is equally stereotypical?

Sunday Funnies: When Your Teacher Burns You On Facebook

Just when you think it’s safe to smack talk your former teachers, they roll in and clap back. . . hard.

Yepp. That’s a burn.

Small Children Interrupt Father’s On Air Video And I’m Just A Little Bit Pissed Off About It

By now you’ve probably seen the video of Professor Robert Kelly’s on-air interview with the BBC that he was doing from his home. If not, see video in question below.

I’m not pissed off about or at the children interrupting him. Children will be children and anyone who has ever raised one or been around one for any length of time knows a closed unlocked door is an invitation to open to see what’s going on inside. To be perfectly honest, they were probably the most entertaining thing about the video. I’m not even really pissed about the way he tried to push his daughter back while she was standing beside him.

What I am pissed off about is the lack of outrage from pussyhat wearing SJWs for the wife who had to come in practically on her knees, wrangle up the children, and walk backwards out the door children in tow all while bowed down.

Where are you SJWs? Where are your screams about Patriarchy, Misogyny?

Ashley . . .Cher . . . anyone??

Where is Lena Dunham ripping off her clothes and eating rice pudding on the toilet in protest?!

Shouldn’t  Samantha Bee be chiming in right about now about how the dad has “Nazi hair?”

My God! Shouldn’t we be organizing a march or something!!

This brings me to why I’m just a little pissed . . . all of the “outrage” we’ve seen as of late from self titled feminist is nothing but manufactured. Manufactured for personal gain, to reignite failing careers or simply to pitch a public fit because they didn’t get their way on November 8, 2016.

If it were anything but, we’d be seeing more than one person blogging about the “outrage” of it all.

Again, I ask – Where Is The Outrage?!!!!

*Side Note to Professor Kelly: Locks. Get one and use it.

Oh Oh Oh It’s Magic, You Know

courtesy of blaykpuckett.com

Blayk Puckett, a junior at the University of Central Arkansas, was driving home from the library late Friday night when he was pulled over by Sgt. Keith McKay.

Puckett said ” “I had a brake light out, and so I’m driving very carefully trying to be as careful as I can not to do anything wrong because I knew my brake light was out,”

Sgt. McKay showed him the broken tail light and spoke with him to be sure he wasn’t under the influence.

Then, McKay asked a question that changed the entire conversation: “What’s that in your pocket?”

Puckett explained to the officer he was a magician, and McKay asked to see some magic.

Puckett offered to juggle instead.

“I knew I could prove I hadn’t been drinking, especially with juggling clubs in the back seat,” he said.

Puckett posted the video of his juggling act of his Facebook page, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Sgt. McKay didn’t give Puckett a ticket stating he knew he was sober before the juggling began, and it was just for fun.

About the stop, Sgt. McKay said, ” it was the most fun traffic stop he’s ever made.”

National Pancake Day: Go Out And Get Ya A Stack – Bon Appetit!

Holly Briley According to Google the pancake goes back to the ancient Greeks and Romans who would eat them sweetened with honey.

The Elizabethans ate them flavored with various spices, rosewater, sherry and apples. They were traditionally ate them on Shrove Tuesday, known in commonwealth countries as Pancake Day which consisted of a day or feasting and partying before the beginning of Lent.

Today, IHOP celebrates National Pancake Day complete with free short stacks in return all they ask is that you make a contribution to one of their charitable partners.

What could be better? Pancakes & the knowledge that you’re doing good for so many that need help.

Feeling hungry yet?

Bon Appetit!

WikiLeaks: Vault 7 Part 1- Year Zero

. . .via wikileaks website . . .

” Recently, the CIA lost control of the majority of its hacking arsenal including malware, viruses, trojans, weaponized “zero day” exploits, malware remote control systems and associated documentation. This extraordinary collection, which amounts to more than several hundred million lines of code, gives its possessor the entire hacking capacity of the CIA. The archive appears to have been circulated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive.”

“”Year Zero” introduces the scope and direction of the CIA’s global covert hacking program, its malware arsenal and dozens of “zero day” weaponized exploits against a wide range of U.S. and European company products, include Apple’s iPhone, Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.”

Hillary’s New Life After White House Loss. . . Losing Ain’t Pretty

Still trying to make Hillary happen, The Hill ran a piece about how she is “coming to terms with her new life.”

The article was pretty much a re-hash of what we’ve been hearing since she lost the election, but the picture they ran on Twitter linking to the article . . . .

. . . pretty much says it all.  Pretty much.

One can only imagine what they really think about their new lives. Their new 24/7 constantly together “new lives.” The lives that are now so polar opposite of the one they thought they’d have with Hillary in The Oval and Bill with a flock of new interns to smoke cigars with.

So . . . I took the liberty of ‘filling in the blanks.’

Thank You God they didn’t get those new lives!

AP Targets Karen Pence By Posting Her Private E-Mail Address

As if we need further proof the left-leaning MSM (mainstream media) outlets are actively targeting anyone associated with President Trump, they sank to a new low, and targeted our Second Lady, Karen Prince.

Friday in a story about Vice President Mike Pence’s efforts to block the release of his emails during his tenure as Indiana governor, the AP posted the personal email address of Karen Prince.

The AP was following a story initially posted in the Indiana Star that revealed VP, Pence used a private server for state business while he was Governor of Indiana.

Pence responded to the story by stating “no comparison whatsoever” between his use of a private account and Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, which Pence routinely criticized during last year’s presidential campaign.”

AP removed the email address from subsequent stories when they learned Mrs. Pence still used the account.
